About

Who I am:

I’m an avid dreamer, a closet writer, a former dancer, a football fan. But the greatest thing I am—besides a daughter—is a devourer of stories. I don’t know exactly when or where my love of reading began, but I do know I’ve had amazing people in my life who have helped to cultivate and share in it with me.

In 2013, I graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Criminology and a BA in English: Editing, Writing, and Media. My passion for books, and more specifically words, led me to pursue a MS in Book Publishing which I completed June 2015.

In May 2016, I joined St. Martin’s Press where I work on projects across several of its imprints including Wednesday Books, SMP Swerve, St. Martin’s Griffin, and Minotaur.

What I’m Looking For:

I’m looking for voice-driven narratives with dynamic storytelling, immersive worlds, and characters to love (or love to hate). I have a soft spot for stories featuring diverse characters and cultures, and retellings of ancient legends, myths, and fairy tales.

In adult, I’m interested in contemporary romance especially romantic comedies, women’s fiction geared towards women in their 20s and 30s, literary fiction, historical fiction, speculative fiction, magical realism, thrillers, and millennial lifestyle nonfiction. Favorites include Tell Me Your Dreams, The Painted Girls, The Underground Railroad, The Girl in the Flammable SkirtHomegoing, Virgin, and Isle of Youth.

In YA, I’m interested in contemporary in the vain of Nina LaCour, Kasie West, Jenny Han, and Gayle Forman, historical, fantasy, magical realism, and horror. Favorites include The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender, The Star-Touched Queen, The Diviners, A Mad Wicked Folly, Maid of Secrets, Welcome to the Dark House, and Afterworlds.
